2007 Sale Results

Hershberger Performance Sale Company, Jason and Nikki Hershberger, held their second annual performance horse sale Saturday, January 13, 2007 in Buckeye, AZ at the Empty Acres Arena. Despite being the coldest day in seventeen years, the sale was a success. Horses were previewed on Friday at 2:00 and again on Saturday at 9:00. Horses were demonstrated in both the roping arena and the cutting pen. Reining horses were exhibited too. The sale began at 1:00, Wade Shaw from Texas was the auctioneer. Bid spotters included Stacey Lee and Jody Doescher from Oklahoma and Randy Wood from Buckeye. Reading pedigrees from the auctioneer stand was Teddy Robinson. Office help included Sara Vaessen from Vaessen Pedigrees, Michelle Williams, Kylie Knight, and Nikki Hershberger.

A large crowd huddled around the heaters and bidder numbers went out to people from all over. Many winter visitors were in attendance. The sale was underway at 1:00. A special thanks to Empty Acres and their beautiful facility and Dan Cross panels for the sale ring and auctioneer stand. Congratulations to the new owners and thanks to Nutrena feed for the FREE bags of feed donated to the new owners.
