2015 Sale Results

Hershberger Performance Horse Sale Company, Jason and Nikki Hershberger, held their tenth annual performance horse sale Saturday, February 14th, in Litchfield Park, AZ at Dunn's Arena. 

Horses were previewed on Friday at 2:00 in a jackpot team roping. The Jackpot was won by Bodie Baize riding hip #110, Fast Ole Cat and Seth Hall, riding hip #23, Chips Monster Buck. It was a tough roping and fun to watch! Horses were previewed again on Saturday at 9:00. Horses were demonstrated in the events of: roping, cutting, and cow horse. The sale began at 12:00. 

A professional staff included: Auctioneers, Joel White and Randy Woodward, announcer, John Johnson, and bid spotters Stacy Lee, Mitch Armitage, Chisom Kinard, and Cas Salley. Nick Nichols did a great job announcing the previews. The office was managed by Sara Vaessen Pedigrees and Andrew & Jessica Larson.


Sale Highlights and ResultsThe High-Selling Horse, Ben Playin Too, a 2009 Bay Gelding, was 
consigned by Jim Loftin, with Kirt Wingate as his agent. This awesome 
rope horse is a proven point earner and winner in the AQHA Roping classes. 
He sold for $40,000.00 to Greg Hause from Colorado. 

Other top-ten selling horses were consigned by: 
Rick Chayer, Ryan Von Ahn, Jed Jacobs, Steve Orth, Turner Performance Horses, 
Clay & Susan Myers, Zane Bruce, Kylie McClean, and Jason Hershberger.

Jason is always excited to see good horses from the sale go on to be successful with their new owners. 
Jason was glad to see the quality of horses that were brought by consignors from 
AZ, SD, OK, MO, ID, WY, NE, TX, UT, and MT.
